When Anita was around 3 years old the parents soon saw that this daughter of theirs should start going to a dance teacher. They could see that she had already been showing that she had this natural ability to do dancing and wanted to encourage it. So they sent her to one of the dance teachers that came highly recommended to them in their area. They were glad that she was so close to their home, as Anita and her mother could walk there within about five to ten minutes, thus saving on the use of the car and gas.

When I met this couple and their daughter, Anita was a teenager and they had pictures all over their home of her in various dance costumes and poses. These were beautiful pictures of her, I told them. They said to me, “She never pursued dancing then anyway.” The couple said she got distracted from it when getting more towards junior high school because this type of dancing wasn’t the “in” thing anymore. So now she has taken up learning the guitar.
