I No Longer Cancel Activities

I was in a car accident nearly two years ago, and I had not quite felt right ever since. There was pain in my back, and I just figured it was something I was going to have to live with for the rest of my life. It was not horrible, but on the really bad days it could get moderately painful. My friend asked me not long ago if I was ever going to see a Bakersfield chiropractor about it. I had canceled yet another bike ride on the trails because I just did not think I could handle such a long trek with how I was feeling.

I had went to the hospital after my accident, and they said other than a few bumps and bruises, I was just fine. Well, my body definitely did not agree with that assessment, but I figured it was too late at that point to do anything about it. My accident was almost as old as my granddaughter, and she is already walking and talking. My friend urged me to go though as she said she had heard that chiropractors have helped people with pains from accidents decades ago.

That was all I needed to be convinced to go. I really did not like having pain on a daily basis even though it was manageable on most days. It was those days where I just wanted to cry that motivated me to get to the chiropractor. The amazing thing is that they were able to help me. I was told that it was not going to be a one stop fix, and that I would need to come back several times to get adjustments done. I was in it for the long haul though, especially when I could feel myself getting better with each visit. I no longer cancel bike trips or anything else now!
